Well well, I finally got off my duff and picked up the ol pen and paper for another free talk segment! After the last intallment's colour job, I imagine this strip will find many of you feeling let down. I apologize, but I simply don't have the time available to work up a full colour comic each time. I too must admit that this strip isn't one of my favourites. I realized here that I'd become too dependant on grey tones to give depth. I'm not actually the kind of person that enjoys greyscale artwork that much. There are several manga series I read that I feel are impeded upon because of the overuse of screentones and shadows. By comparison, I really dig the art of most shonen style manga, which uses cross hatching, and pen and ink. Hard lines and sharp angles do it for me I guess!

So with the next installment, I will be attempting straight pen and ink art, which I feel gives more definition and character. I hope you all will look foward to it!
